Another Liturgical Villian – A Brief History of Abp Rembert Weakland
As every Catholic (should) know, The Mass and other parts of the Church’s Liturgy are the literal Source, Center, and Summit of our lives. The Council said everyone needs to participate more deeply, and thus said that everyone needed much deeper education and catechesis, and furhter training.
None of this happened. Which is why too many parishes today obviously have little to no real, true focus on God, and instead have a feminized, feelings-based, man-made “liturgy.” Not the Real Mass, formed by The Holy Spirit Himself for thousands and thousands of years.
There are many resons for the state of things today.
One of those “reasons” is the person of Archbishop Rembert Weakland, a villian, a master of duplicity, a supporter and protector of criminals.

And, although the author does not make the following point, the reader should consider it very, very, very deeply — the “man” written of in this article was permitted to proceed, to “do his dirty work” without any challenges from “brother bishops,” at least not that we are aware of. The only person who ever raised his ire was Mother Angelica, PCPA — not a bishop or priest, obviously, but the only person willing to defend Our Lord and His Truth…
